Designed to be eco-friendly, the home features two roof terraces equipped with irrigation, geothermal heating and cooling, and radiant-heat flooring.

The spacious home is equipped with floor-to-ceiling pocket doors, which turn some of the spacious areas into more intimate spaces.

The lower level includes a family room that could also function as a playroom. The home comes with a five-car, heated garage attached to a mudroom.

“The buyer is either somebody with a deep appreciation for the architectural purity of the house, or it could be for an athlete, or someone in the entertainment industry,” Lippitz says. “It is a trophy house.”

The location is close to boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Plus, it’s steps to the elevated 606 trail, a former rail line that’s now a walkable green space.

“It’s one of the hottest areas of Chicago,” Lippitz adds.
