I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to post this review on as many platforms as I can after how smooth Dave has made the home buying experience for me and my family. Home buying can be an intimidating, complicated process and having a truly excellent realtor can make a huge difference. Dave Sheehan is just that: truly excellent. By a stroke of luck, he was representing the seller of our new home and he agreed to represent us as buyers since we didn’t have an agent. I’ve heard horror stories of realtors who don’t know what they’re doing, don’t communicate well, and don’t have your best interest at heart. Dave is the complete opposite. He’s personable, funny, extremely savvy, and advocates for his client at every opportunity. He’s communicative but not pushy. He clearly has decades of experience doing his job well and gets every action item done promptly (and then handles things behind the scenes that you wouldn’t even think of). He knows the residential market extremely well in DFW and has a vision for the nuances that affect the value of a home and neighborhood. He is a family man and makes sure that he makes time for important life events with them, but his proficiency in his work ensure that there are no loose ends hanging in the balance during that time. We met Jenny in May of ’22. My wife and I had decided to move closer to our local kids and grandchildren who were in Keller and Roanoke. Hoping to get in the Southlake area, we were looking in the Stony Brook development when we ran across a realtor sign on a vacant lot. It was Jenny’s with Reflect Real Estate, and we called her. It was the start of a wonderful relationship that continues today as we approach the one year anniversary of our meeting. Although we liked the Stony Brook development, we were not able to build at the price point we budgeted. And that’s where Jenny really took us on in a very personal and professional way. She went to work immediately in locating lots, new construction and existing homes in our price range and we began the viewing and tours. Then bingo! She located “our new home”! Its address is Grapevine but was in the Southlake school district, but met our location needs. Although it was still under construction, it was close enough to completion that it would work in our time frame. We wrote a contract in mid-June and closed on August 24th. All during the time between introduction, contract and closing, Jenny was right there and managing the process perfectly. Even after the close and we were moved in, Jenny was checking in on us. All this to say, it was a wonderful experience and Jenny’s professionalism and care has turned into a friendship we’ll have for a long time. Valerie was extremely helpful with our move from Dallas to Houston. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area we were looking to move to and attended quite a few open houses on our behalf when we were in Dallas. She went so far as to Facetime us several homes so we could continue our search from Dallas. Valerie helped with our negotiation of the home, was able to answer any questions we had and ultimately made the process of purchasing our home as seamless as it could be.
