There’s some big news out of Sin City for NHL winger Max Pacioretty.

The sale of his Las Vegas estate for $11 million has set a new bar as the most expensive ever in The Ridges, a luxury home community. What’s more, this transaction is also the highest sale price so far for the greater Las Vegas area in 2023.

And the large chunk of change might prove soothing for Pacioretty, who could use some cheering up right about now. The left winger is currently a member of the Caroline Hurricanes, but he has been sidelined since an Achilles tear in January.

Pacioretty starred for the Vegas Golden Knights for four seasons before being traded to Carolina in July 2022. He no longer needs a place in Nevada, so the sale of his six-bedroom mansion makes perfect sense. Here’s more about the record-setting property.

With over 10,000 square feet of living space on a half-acre of land, this single-story mansion is the epitome of opulence. A recent redesign added a Calacatta marble fireplace and a reimagined lower level.

The kitchen features double islands and an impressive walk-in pantry. The home also offers a wine cellar, personal gym space, sauna, and screening room. Lovely plantings fill the yard, which also includes a 55-foot pool, fire pit, sport court, and an outdoor kitchen.

The primary bedroom suite comes with sliding glass doors with access to the yard and pool. The bathroom features a soaking tub as well as double showers (no waiting!).

And if you’re into hockey at all, you’ll appreciate the built-in practice surface for fine-tuning your slap shots and wristers. This one’s even appropriately branded with the Golden Knights logo.
