An expansive Atlanta estate has found its way back onto the market. This time, the pricey property is listed for $1.2 million less than its original ask in 2014.
Available for $46.8 million, the ornate offering is this week’s most expensive home on Realtor.com®. It also takes the title of priciest listing in Georgia.
The lavish seven-bedroom, 17,776-square-foot, English Tudor-style estate known as Chestnut Hall was built in 1995. The place is positively teeming with European influences.
Other pricey properties to hit the market this week include a Colorado spread with chuckwagons and a newly built home, a Lake Tahoe luxury estate, and a Hawaii-themed retreat in Malibu.

The seven-bedroom mansion made its market debut in 2014, with an asking price of $48 million. With no takers on the place, the price was slashed to $37.5 million the following year. Over the next several years, the price fluctuated before returning to an amount near its original ask.
Set on more than 18 acres, the colossal mansion is extravagant throughout, with its Venetian plaster walls and Versailles-pattern parquet flooring, according to the listing.
Other high-end details include Parisian bronze mausoleum doors, curved marble stairs, and a gilt bronze chandelier. An Onyx tub and 18-karat gold-plated faucet adorn the primary-suite bathroom.
There’s also a separate four-bedroom guesthouse on the sizable property.
