A historic, Georgian mansion in Omaha, NE, has just hit the market for $5,250,000, making it the state’s most expensive home listing.

The elaborate, nine-bedroom estate comes complete with its own chapel and recently made the Realtor.com® list of the Week’s Most Popular Homes.

Built in 1907, the 10,039-square-foot floor plan offers abundant luxury. From a library with a marble fireplace to an enormous, wood-paneled dining room, evidence of the home’s history abounds.

“We recently found a photo album from 1927, and a lot of the fixtures found in the house today are as they were back then,” says listing agent Richard Begley, of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The Good Life Group. “The ceiling fixtures and sconces match the pictures and are pretty unique to the home.”

Deluxe design is found throughout the stately brick build, which boasts a two-story, center staircase with hand-carved woodwork.
