Nobody has ever lived in this recently completed megamansion with views of downtown Los Angeles. But it has certainly been popular online, with plenty of people checking out the pricey property.
The primo listing is a standout both for its size and its enormous price tag.
“It was five years in the construction process, and everything was hand selected by the seller,” says listing agent Joyce Rey, with Coldwell Banker Realty. “The attention to detail is remarkable. She wanted the finest of everything and was extremely detail-oriented.”
She says the seller initially considered living in the home but ultimately decided to slap a $185 million price tag on it instead. At that amount, it’s the priciest home listing in Los Angeles right now.

Published reports say the property is owned by a company tied to real estate developer Maggie Gong Miracle.
“It probably has the highest quality of construction that I have seen in residential architecture,” Rey says, adding that the home was constructed by commercial builder Matt Construction, also responsible for L.A.’s Broad Museum. “There is no compromise in quality anywhere.”
The furnishings are part of the sale and were curated by interior design firm Meyer Davis.
There is a jukebox designed by Hermes, bronze-inlaid floors, and marble from a 17th-century Italian mine for the fireplace. The wine room has space for 2,000 bottles, and the theater has Dolby sound.
“Every single item in this house is top quality,” Rey assures. “Even the tennis court was hand painted by an artist. It’s unusual and is not a standard tennis court. It’s also lighted, which is impossible to get in today’s world in Los Angeles.”

The main house has eight bedrooms. There’s a separate guesthouse and wellness center that has two more bedrooms. The total interior space is an astonishing 35,000 square feet.
A 174-foot, curved lap pool runs in front of the main house, while a separate lap pool is part of the wellness center.
“There’s a wonderful gym, a beauty salon, a sauna, and a massage table like I’ve never seen before,” Rey adds.
The estate sits on almost 3 acres, spanning two hillside lots, and has its own olive grove. There are also two garages with space for 40 cars.
“It’s ideal for a car collector,” Rey observes.

In a nod to the property’s remarkable vistas, Rey and the sales team nicknamed the home “La Vue”—French for “The View.”
Want to see more pics? We’ll there’s aren’t any, and there’s a reason for that.
The owner “wanted to preserve the privacy of the new owner,” Rey explains. “I was amazed [when I first saw it]. My compliments to the owner.”
