Northeast of White Rock Lake and south of Lake Highlands, Lochwood is sometimes referred to as Dixon Branch after a creek with the same name that runs along the neighborhood’s western edge. It’s a community that’s seemingly ideal for young families, as most of the nearly 5,000 residents are in their mid- to late 30s and early 40s.
